Welcome to the Idaho State Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association
This is the official website of Idaho state chapter of AMTA. We are dedicated to supporting our members through education, professional development, advocacy, and a strong sense of community. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner, a student beginning your journey, or someone interested in learning more about the massage therapy profession, we're glad you're here. Explore our resources, connect with fellow members, discover upcoming events, and join us as we promote excellence, integrity, and the positive impact of therapeutic massage throughout our state.
Looking for continuing education in Idaho?
Our chapter is committed to providing high-quality continuing education opportunities throughout the year. We strive to host two educational events annually, giving massage therapists the opportunity to expand their knowledge, develop new skills, and connect with colleagues from across the state. Because AMTA membership renewal includes continuing education requirements, our events are designed to help members earn valuable CE credits while investing in their professional growth. Beyond the classroom, these events create meaningful opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, collaborate with fellow massage therapists, and strengthen our professional community.
Spring Conference
Each spring, we host a three-day conference featuring two to three experienced instructors offering a variety of hands-on and lecture-based courses, including a required ethics class. The conference also includes our Annual Member Meeting during a banquet dinner, where chapter leaders share updates, discuss current initiatives, celebrate accomplishments, and provide members with opportunities to engage in the future of our chapter. Throughout the weekend, attendees have plenty of time to network, share experiences, and connect with massage therapists from across the state.
Fall Education Event
In the fall, we offer a one-day continuing education event featuring a guest educator presenting an in-depth, full day course. This focused learning experience allows participants to explore a specialized topic, earn valuable continuing education credits, and enjoy another opportunity to meet, learn from, and collaborate with fellow massage therapists in a welcoming environment.
Why have a state chapter?
Our state chapter exists to strengthen and support the massage therapy profession and our members at the local level. By bringing together massage therapists from across the state, we foster a community of learning, collaboration, and professional growth. We advocate for the highest standards of practice, provide continuing education and networking opportunities, and serve as a trusted resource for members and the public. Together, we work to advance the profession, promote the benefits of therapeutic massage, and support one another in making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
